Juniors Programs
CSRA, in association with the gracious assistance of the racquet manufacturers, has set up a program to help juniors development programs state-wide. We are offering equipment and money to programs that have a need and desire to grow. Interested program directors are encouraged to apply to me for this assistance. In addition, we have developed a juniors program manual suitable for the "just starting" and up to the seasoned programs. Other Junior program development champions, including Jim Garner of Alabama and Harv Brannigan of Sandpoint, Idaho have also offered input into what it takes to make your juniors program an outstanding success. We encourage everyone to feel free to submit ideas as well. Together, we can make our juniors program the best in the US!
Juniors Coordinator
We would like to introduce Brian Dixon, Board of Director, as our Juniors Coordinator.

To provide you with information on Junior events, training tips, equipment offers and ways to get our kids involved in racquetball. Please provide the club name, address, phone number and contact person. Peter is eager to hear all about your Juniors program, give him a shout!
How to fit Juniors Division into your tournament
Attention tournament directors: do you find it hard to find a an open slot in your tournament for a Juniors division because the courts are full of adult players around the clock? Have them play on one day only, not multiple days. On Sundays, the courts begin to free up because in most cases, all the courts are not needed for semis or finals.
Here's some advice from Jack Hughes:
I usually have all the kids show up at around 10:00 AM Sunday, give them
two or three courts, score cards, and balls and let them play as much
as they want.
Parents sort of supervise and help them ref, etc.
They can play as long as they want, but they usually are finished at around
two.
